Joseph Radtke is an active freelance trombonist and conductor.

In addition to serving as conductor of the Saginaw Eddy Concert Band (since 2014), Joseph is the Second Trombonist with the West Michigan Symphony Orchestra and Midland Symphony Orchestra and is Principal Trombone for the Baroque on Beaver Island Festival. Joseph is also the Director of the Central Michigan Area Concert Band (since 2014), and serves as Conductor for the Click Clack Moosic Ensemble with West Michigan Symphony (since 2012).

He also has performed with the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Saginaw Eddy Concert Band, Saginaw Chorale Society, Midland Music Society, Michigan Jazz Trail Big Band, Paradigm Brass Quintet, Metallurgy Brass Quintet, and many other ensembles throughout Michigan.

Joseph Radtke has spent the past 14 years teaching instrumental music in Michigan. He taught in the Breckenridge Community School District from 2006 to 2019 and is now teaching at Greenville Middle School in Greenville, Michigan. In addition to teaching children, Joe teaches trombone as an adjunct professor at Alma College.

His career includes teaching and directing Jazz Bands, Concert Bands, Marching Bands, General Music Classes, Choral Music, Chamber Ensembles, and private lessons. Joseph studied trombone with Dr. Robert Lindahl at Central Michigan University, earned a Bachelor of Music Education Degree in 2005 and a Masters of Music Education in 2014.
